Jazbaa – Film Review
Genre: Action Thriller.
Cast: Irrfan Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Jackie Shroff and Shabana Azmi.
Director: Sanjay Gupta.
Korean Film Seven Days par thi Inspired thayel Jazbaa film ma Irrfan Khan nu character Ad-bhoot chhe. I really enjoyed Aishwarya & Irrfan’s onscreen chemistry. Picture ne typical bollywood touch ‘naa’ aapine, main story par focus karyu hot to Jazbaa ghani saari bani shaki hot because jem jem movie aagal vadhe chhe aem aem dimaag tukka ladaavanu sharu kari de ke aakhre climax shu hashe? It’s an interesting film especially after interval tamne engaging laagshe. Film also informs us ke India ma kevi rite dar 22 minute ae rape thaay chhe and some other statistics. But bottom line ae chhe ke Film ‘jovay ke na jovaay’ – ‘gamshe ke nahi game? Well, let me share quickly what I think about the film.
I Do Like a lot because of: Khatru Entertaining Dialogues delivered by none other than Irrfan Khan (written by Veteran Kamlesh Pandey). Clap/Whistle maarvanu mann thai jaay aeva witty liners chhe with perfect timings. Sharing my few personal favorite dialogues:-
• “Is mess me kaise rehte ho? – main kaha rehta hun, yahan intzaar rehta hai…”
• “Neend maashuka jaisi hai, waqt naa do to bura maan jaati hai”
• “Aajkal sharif wo hota hai jiske mobile mei password nahi hota hai”
• “Arre Customer to roz aate hai, aaj ummid aai hai…” <3
• “Abey Mohhabbat hai isiliye jaane diya – zid hoti to baahon mei hoti!!”
I Didn’t Like Much Because of : too much green filter and slow motion bogus visuals, Chaahiye Utnaa tension ka mahol nahi banaa paayi & over emotional/melodrama that too with Red-Eyed Aishwarya Rai. I mean, why??? Aishwarya ni paase aatli saras blue eyes chhe aene vaaare vaaare blood red karvani kya jagyaajj chhe?!
Fav song: “Bandeyaa” Sung by Jubin Nautiyal (composed – penned by Amjad Nadeem) & “Jaane Tere Shehar” sung by Vipin Anneja (lyrics-composed by Arko)
Watchable or Not: Yes Watchable. Sanjay Gupta ni Jazbaa Best nathi pan worst pan nathi!! Strictly Average & Sehanable because of the finest dialogues (I know, am again and again mentioning the same point) 😛
It’s a Definitely a one-time watch especially for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan & Irrfan Khan fans.
